Gateway Green
This was a pro bono project for a local (Portland) group who is trying to convert an expanse of neglected, unused land into an offroad bicycle recreation area, which also acts as a showpiece for sustainable technologies (solar power, grassed swales for cleaning and managing highway runoff, etc.).
I handled planning and development, and also did the design, with a lot of very useful input from Christopher Masciocchi, and some lovely photography from Linda Robinson, the director of the non-profit group. I'm also playing an ongoing role in site development and upkeep, and hope to introduce some really compelling mapping features soon.
